  1. Wow! Fab collection of cards Rachael. You have been busy!
This technique is called paper piecing. You should enter this into the Crafty Catz challenge (link on my blog) as paper piecing is our theme for this week.
I see you have a craft robo, I have the lite but i am rubbish with it and never get the time to sit down and play so i really impressed with your cards. Do you have the bigger version?

  2. i would love to enter some challenges but i keep forgeting how to do it lol i am not very good at this blog stuff lol as you can see,i make cards then forget to put them on the blog, i will get there im sure it just takes ages to load pics then figure out how to add them every time, i have the new craft robo my hubby got it for me (anything so he can watch the football in peace lol) it is a bit frustrating at times but i am slowly getting the hang of it, it is the one with the optical eye not that i have used it but i will work up to it some day, and thanks for telling me its called paper piercing i couldnt remember what it was i look at all the blogs for ideas of what to make with the intention of entering in the challenges but like i said im not very good at the linky part but i will go and have a go, the more i do it the better i will get im sure, thanks for looking at my blog you have made my day x

  3. Yay! It worked! Thanks for joining us at Crafty Catz! You lucky thing having the one with the eye, i have just figured out that you can cut out digital stamps with that. Nice! I can't justify upgrading mine just for the sake of my laziness but I wish i had done some more research when i bought it. There is a way of reverse cut and print on mine but i need to have a play! Shame it doesn't seem to cut thicker card though.

  5. Hi me again, god you're going to think i'm stalking you! Just to let you know that to enter the draw on my blog you need to link your blog on the linky thing as i will use a random number generator (if i can figure it out!) to pick the winner. Right ironing calls....

  8. oh so you are! Silly me, think I might have got you confused with another Rachael who left a comment about the draw yesterday. It must be age (and kids) my brain is a bit spongy these days!
Love the wedding card by the way! I had alittle play last night with the robo and think i've figured out how to cut out a digi stamp! OMG it was noisy though! Thought the kids were going to wake up!
